Amazon opened new sites in Poland. These sites help Amazon handle current and future customer demand and ensure that Amazon customers everywhere enjoy the fast and reliable return handling they are accustomed to.

For our new Fulfillment Center (FC) in Sosnowiec, we are looking for a Finance Intern (m/f).

About the role
This role is all about making your specific Fulfillment Center the best it can be by providing accurate and data driven insight into business.


Position description:

·       Prepare, analyze and report on productivity metrics/KPIs (daily, weekly and monthly)

·       Work together with site controller to set quarterly cost targets and get involved in strategic financial planning

·       Calculate and analyze monthly cost results, increase forecast accuracy

·       Participate in month-end-close process including forecasting activities

·       Take part in special projects to reduce costs and boost the performance

·       Prepare internal, controlling and accounting related reports to management

·       Perform analysis based on complex data warehouse systems

Basic Qualifications:
A student received Bachelor degree and working towards Master degree in operations-supply chain analysis, financial analysis, business process or labor demand analytics
  • Technical Expertise: good knowledge of planning and analysis tools; solution driven approach to system and process; advanced computer literacy (MS Excel, MS Access/other Database). SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge of systems within a fast paced metrics driven environment, thrive on analytics and detailed investigation – is a plus
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently under deadlines
  • Cooperative manner and team oriented
  • Fluent in Polish and English. Both verbally and written communication.
